Fall is just around the corner - Of course Calgarians have already had a taste of winter this past week, but that doesn't come as much of a surprise. 
We shot these Pre Fall looks on a gorgeous summer day, capturing what may be the last of the green grass and full trees for the season. These two looks incorporate staple pieces every woman should have in their fall wardrobe.

Jumpsuits and Rompers are huge this season. They are comfortable and easy to wear. As it is one piece, you can easily style your look by throwing a sweater, jacket or vest on and a pair of stilettos or edgy ankle boots. This fun snake print jumpsuit has a great colour palette that works well with several other colours. For this shoot I chose to pair it with a fur vest and a black suede lace up boot to give it some edge. The leather studded wrap bracelet and metal collar add solid textures against the soft fabrics.

The blanket sweater is also a great piece for fall. An open sweater allows you to easily layer underneath and show off some fun jewellery. The crop top, shorts with the sweater overtop creates a mix of hemlines. As we move into fall, try changing the shorts for a slim pant, or distressed denim.
Camel coloured boots and bags make great accessories for the transitional season. 

These pieces will take you from summer to f/w.

After spending the past few years in the U.K., I have become a tea addict.  I drink approximately 2 cups of tea per day in the summer months, and 3-5 in the winter.
