The warmth of gold mixed with black creates a visually stimulating contrast. I prefer Antiqued Gold, over polished, brassy gold, so when I found these jewellery pieces I was very excited. The double finger ring and square ring  compliment  the antiqued hardware on my YSL Muse bag. Unlike many of my other handbags, the YSL muse has a very feminine shape. I love how classic  it is, like the memory of when I purchased it in a YSL boutiques in Paris. A fter searching for this bag in just about every city I travelled to in N.America - it was meant to be. Beautiful Bridal

Image
As wedding season is just around the corner, we created this photo shoot to capture some of our favourite bridal styles for the season. The shoot objective was to create a juxtaposition between the modern bride and the intricate details of the  historical church. I initially was inspired by the architectural elements in the interior of the gorgeous historical building. The high vaulted ceilings, massive pipe organ, circular hand carved wood railings and colourful stained glass, it really is a gem in Calgary's downtown belt line area. The styles I pulled from Ethos Bridal Group are flattering for brides of all ages and sizes. The exquisite jewellery pieces were designed by Savage Grace Designs, a custom jewellery designer based out of Calgary. As featured in a previous post "Photo Shoot Jewels!"; I felt the purity and energy behind the crystals and stones would work well with the Bridal theme. Wanderlust Fashion Show

We had a lovely evening at Wanderlust Fashion Show + Charity Fundraiser at North Cariboo Air in Calgary.  The show was in support of Operation Smile, an international Children’s medical charity.  There was a great mix of spring/summer looks walking down the runway. Designers featured included: Beth Richards, Nuage 9, Malika Couture, Baiza Jamal, Marina Ortman (Dome of Montreal) and Mackenzie Jones.  Vancouver based designer, Beth Richards started off the show with her sleek,  modern swimwear collection. We loved the clean lines and flattering cuts of the one piece suits, that could also be worn as bodysuits. www.bethrichards.com Glamourous evening bags by Nuage 9, added some sparkle to the runway.                            Malika Couture mixed it up with her edgy leather pieces, and vibrant  spring  prints flowing down the runway. www.malikacouture.com                      Malaysian Designer, Baiza Jamal, made her Canadian debut  showcasing
