100 NIGHTS ON OUR ENDY

Image
Having a good night sleep is SO important for productivity and health. After living in Europe, we know the importance of a good mattress [we used to put two mattress toppers on because the beds there are SO hard - and small!].  We had a comfortable mattress prior to our Endy, however, David had a tendency to get up in the night and the mattress would shift so much that it would wake me up. I am the type of girl who NEEDS her beauty sleep, so it didn't take long for me to start seeking alternative options.  When I came across Endy, I knew it was worth a try. With their 100-night guarantee you have the option  to  return the mattress if you aren't satisfied, no questions asked... and they will actually come back and pick it up from your home. We ordered the Endy Queen mattress, two Endy pillows and the Endy bedsheets which includes two pillow cases, a flat sheet and fitted sheet.  ...

Country Chic

Image
A fresh transformation with a cozy feel - We created a rustic, country style Family Room that is both functional and stylish.  We love the original exposed brick fireplace surround, the textured brick adds to the rustic, country style we wanted to create. The painted panelling and the new flat ceiling create a larger, crisp feeling.  Beautiful Floral custom drapery panels frame the French patio doors.  Between the custom furniture and the new fireplace Hearth, there is ample seating. We designed this sofa to comfortably seat three,  two swivel chairs, the bowed hearth with cushions also creates seating for two. We designed the Ottoman with beautiful nailhead detailing to be used for several purposes. The custom swivel chairs are one of my favourite elements from this project. The flame stitched fabric is gorgeous and timeless. The rounded shape is comfortable to curl up in, with a swivel base that is great for entertaining. Another favourite from this project...

Merge into Spring

DETAILS  LeatherJacket: Helmut Lang - Top: Theory - Skirt: Helmut Lang - Shoes: United Nude - Rings Oak + Fort - Lip Stick: YSL Rouge Volupte Shine #13 Pink in Paris  The transition into Spring in Canada can be tough with our hormonal weather. (Never knowing when it's going to snow, rain, or be +25 in the same day). Adding a splash of colour and/or print with darker pieces creates a nice transformation for a taste of Spring in your wardrobe. As the weather can still be cool, I like to wear lighter leather jackets, which add a thin layer of warmth/block the wind, but are not  bulky. You can layer them under a wool coat/winter coat, then when the weather changes, you have a lighter jacket to wear as an indoor or outdoor jacket. Try adding spring prints with colours of blues, greens, and oranges to your wardrobe and radiant lip stick shades to brighten your day.
