I was preparing for a lot of rain and some snow, as I was warned by locals that this was going to be "the worst winter in decades".  Vibrant green grass, flowers and temperatures above zero degrees make me feel like I'm back in Vancouver, minus all the the rain! The dry mild weather has been great for wearing spring clothes all winter long. This layered look includes three bold patterns mixed with solids to create balance. A last minute trip to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday.  This was our first time in Brussels, so we wanted to get a taste of the city and culture.  Our goal was to relax and wander around the city with no schedule. We came across cool contemporary buildings that I have only seen in Azure magazine , and other historical buildings and sites from hundreds of years ago.  We managed to explore a lot of the city and some great chocolate shops, beer tours and restaurants along the way.
