I find it refreshing to wander the city I am living in, or travelling to. You never know what experiences you may have and cool places you may spot!
We went on an adventure around the blooming neighbourhood of East Village in Calgary, AB. During our adventure we stumbled upon a Loft style Cafe with cool graffiti and decor, several interesting people, amazing street art and a lot of golden leaves.

Dressing for fall can be interesting as it is a transitional season with several weather patterns. However, it is a great time of year to merge your summer and winter pieces together. I personally love wearing skirts and dresses all year round. When fall comes around women can start to wear boots, tights or socks with shorter hemlines.
As the mini skirt length is huge for this fall, try styling it with an over the knee boots or socks instead of tights or bare legs.

This skirt is a great fall piece from one of my favourite New York based lines, A.L.C. It has a classic Chanel feel with the multi tone Boucle fabric. Matte black snap closures up the front enable you to wear it done up all the way, or with a fun little slit.
I paired the skirt with a simple, black over the knee sock to create a cozy fall look.

I am loving blue and black together for this f/w. These patent leather wedges have a similar blue and black coloration, nicely tying in the skirt. I paired them with this lightweight heather grey top with black ladder detail on the back. The tailored jacket and cashmere scarf create layering options to finish off the look for day or night.
