Textured cement, water fountains and green grass fill a central downtown block. I wanted to shoot Century Gardens (in Calgary, AB) before the city begins the planned redevelopment. 

We have seen the leather or faux leather mixed with knits look for many seasons, and it is back again. As many of your know I love mixing materials to add texture to any look. This cardigan has full leather sleeves that creates an edge to anything paired with it. 
When purchasing sweaters for f/w I look at the versatility of the piece. This particular sweater hit all the points, it can cascade open as a cardigan, or be draped across with a hidden button to hold the drape in place and add more warmth, and it looks great with a belt or wrapped around to be tied at the back or side. 

When it comes to accessories, I love to wear gemstones and crystals. They are beautiful and are believed to have natural healing qualities. The Sequin Stirrup necklace by Calgary jewelry designer Jennea Frischke, is a great statement piece that can be worn to the office or out for the night. I initially was drawn to the stirrup shape and the materials she used for this particular piece. The necklace incorporates both Labradorite and Hematite in it's intriguing design. Labradorite is known for its ability to protect the aura, strengthen intuitive abilities and reliving stress/anxiety. Hematite uses it's magnetic qualities to create balance and dissolves negativity - great for prevention of absorbing negative energy from others. The statement ring also incorporates Labradorite, with a beautiful slab surrounded by gold detailing.  I love antique gold hardware for f/w, it works great with bold, rich colour palettes. The necklace, ring, pants, boots and bag all have a similar antique gold hardware finish to add some brightness to this fall look. 

The Bayswater bag is a Mulberry icon, with its timeless and effortless look. It fits absolutely everything a girl needs. It's relaxed shape works well with this outfit. 
The full-grain, naturally textured leather is top quality and wears naturally with you. Therefore, each bag will have a unique look. 
Mulberry has an appealing history as being the largest UK luxury leather brand. It  has also become a successful international brand. Mulberry bags have a definite British style to them; from the signature postman's lock, to a Mulberry tree as the brand logo.

After spending the past few years in the U.K., I have become a tea addict.  I drink approximately 2 cups of tea per day in the summer months, and 3-5 in the winter.
