Welcome to Calgary Alberta's Skyline. It has grown significantly in the past few years, while keeping the focus on the Western history of Calgary with the saddle shaped building. The Saddledome has been a landmark since it was built in 1983 for the 1988 Olympics. It is located on the Stampede grounds, where the annual ten days of chaos know as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth" is held. The massive building hosts Hockey games, figure skating and (larger) concerts.
Standing at 155 meters the Calgary Tower peeks out of the belt line Skyscrapers. The rotating restaurant is a great place to do brunch or dinner while taking in the panoramic view of the city and mountains.
Copper is a beautiful alternative to classic silver and gold. It works well as an accessory or accents in both Interior Design and Fashion. Copper is flattering to many skin tones and adds a burst of colour to your home. If it has a metallic finish, it becomes very neutral, and can be mixed with a variety of colour pallets from whites, greys, or even blues and greens.

This copper coloured tunic caught my eye while shopping in the UK. This orange/copper is one of my all time favourite colours for fall and spring. It is a powerful colour, yet I consider it to be neutral. The texture of this fabric is a fine ultra suede, so it is comfortable and easy to wear. I love the tired length from front to back and the slits on both sides, so it can be partially tucked and still have a nice drape. The raw edge of the fabric is delicate, however, it adds an edge to the piece and creates a very minimalist look.

These boots are an Alexander Wang classic. The rose gold plate insert in the back of the heel adds an industrial look to the streamlined shape of the boot. I normally would go for the matte black or chrome plate, however, I liked how the rose gold pops more against the black stacked heel.

I picked these Ted Baker pants up on a trip to Chicago (amazing shopping in Chi Town) . I absolutely love the unique rose gold hardware details. The material has a satin finish, which can be dressed up or down.

Another spring favourite is a new YSL product in their Kiss and Blush Summer Collection. This coppery coloured matte mouse product works as both blush and lipstick. The colour I'm wearing is called Ocre Luxurieux, adding the perfect neutral copper tone to brighten up any SS beauty look. You can purchase this product online at www.yslbeautyus.com . Add  copper tones to your home, wardrobe and makeup bag this SS.
