DETAILS - Jacket: Malika Couture - Silk Top: L.A.M.B - Jeans: Hudson USA - Boots: Alexander Wang - Beanie: All Saints - Belt: G STAR - Gloves: BCBG MAXAZRIA -  Rings: House of Harlow  This chic & comfortable look is easy to put together and great for a casual weekend. The quilted leather jacket is comfortable, functional and flattering for many body types.  This jacket hits all the points for style, versatility, fit, comfort, durability/quality and uniqueness. Since this jacket is made to measure, you get a perfect fit, and get to choose different linings (I chose a fun skull print). The zippers on the front function to create several different looks, including zipping the leather panel right off. One of the main issues with other leather jackets (especially lamb leather) is that the leather in the elbow area stretches with wear, the quilting helps reinforce this area.  The lines and details on this jacket create an edgy yet classic piece for any wardrob

Photo Shoot Jewels!

Image
We had a great day shooting at one of Calgary's beautiful historical buildings. I  love supporting and working with other creative local artists. Savage Grace Designs, a Calgary based jewellery company created some gorgeous pieces for the photo shoot. Their custom jewellery being made with natural stones, and antiques worked well with the vision for the looks.   I was initially interested in Savage Grace Designs, as the gems/crystals they use all have unique characteristics and meaning behind them. The designs are versatile for  everyday, or for a special occasion.  It was a pleasure to incorporate these stunning pieces into the shoot. Majestic Mountains

Image
For those of you who have not yet travelled to Lake Louise, AB, Canada, I highly suggest making a trip there at some point in your life. I took these photos during the holidays while staying at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise with my family. Throughout our stay in the Mountains, we took it all in; fresh air, sleigh rides, skiing, skating, pool, shopping and of course the fantastic restaurants.  I was shocked to hear how many Canadians and even Calgarians were visiting Lake Louise for the first time. It is definitely a majestic place to visit at any time of year, with people from all over the globe enjoying the beauty of The Rocky Mountains.
