Throughout our time living abroad in Europe, David and I had many opportunities to visit Greece. We ultimately decided to save Greece for our honeymoon, and we’re really happy that we did, as it truly is the most romantic place we’ve visited! The beautiful sunset views, unique daily excursions, and fresh cuisine make for the perfect place to celebrate love.
David and I are always traveling, and one thing we have learned while traveling throughout Europe is to pack light because it’s not like North America where there are paved roads and large spaces to walk - this is especially true in Greece. The local landscape is much different from anything we had previously experienced; having to navigate the narrow streets of Mykonos, and the winding cliffside paths to our hotel in Santorini, convinced us to maximize our packing by splitting one large suitcase and two carry-on sized roller bags from Monos, and they were perfect for our month-long adventure.

Birthday Spa Day With Mix Beauty Lab in Toronto

With my bday trip canceled due to Covid19, I wanted a little TLC here in Toronto. I decided to have some pampering at Mix Beauty Lab on my birthday, which also happened to be the last day before social distancing was in full effect in Canada. ⁣⁣⁣ After reading great things about Mix Beauty Lab, I knew it was the perfect place to go. They are a spa that specializes in facials, brows, hair removal, sunless tans, makeup, lashes, and nails - I could spend all day! ⁣ ⁣⁣

I have super sensitive skin, so I have avoided waxing and threading, but it definitely worked well with a little redness that quickly disappeared. I also got a little trim and tried their Mix Brow Fix Gel which is a tinted formula that is water-resistant and has tiny f…

During the fall and winter months, I typically go through fifteen pairs per season. I constantly worry about snagging them and actually carry a bottle of clear nail polish around with me to help prevent any potential hole[s] from creating a run down my leg *embarrassing*. Those days are over now thanks to Sheertex.

I heard about Sheertex, a Canadian brand that specializes in pantyhose, back in the fall and was instantly intrigued. I love that they design AND manufacture right here in Canada [they are based in Montreal]. After taking a look at their site, I was impressed by the reviews, sizing, color and style options to choose from and knew I wanted to partner with them.
When I received my order, it arrived with a testing kit to try to stretch, break, snag, etc. as their claim to be unbreakable is real [they …
