As many of you know I enjoy architecture and design. Working in the industry and travelling to take in and photograph works of art it is a huge passion of mine. Whenever I see fabric or clothing designs that remind me of architecture can't resist buying it. I enjoy when designers think outside the box and create interesting pieces from something so basic.
I have been on the search for a bralette with edgy details around the d├ęcolletage for a long time, so when I came across this caged one from SheIn, I was elated.  The cool, contemporary style looks amazing layered under basics or worn on it's own as a workout top or bathing suit top (I wouldn't actually wear it in the water). It most likely would give you gnarly tan lines, however, I think it is perfect for a pool party or with a pair of yoga pants. The versatili…

Every woman needs a little black dress... or 4 in their wardrobe. I believe it is important to have a few LBD's for different occasions and seasons. Moving into summer the perfect LBD is a flowy silhouette in a breathable fabric for those warm summer days and breezy nights. Cotton, Linen or poly blends allow your skin to breath and give a summery feel to your look. Choose an interesting cut and fun shoes that give your look some flare. I paired these cute snakeskin lace ups with this LBD to create a classically chic look with a fun summery boho vibe. I like how this dress incorporates the cold shoulder trend with a timeless, easy to swear silhouette. Wearing a shorter silhouette with a more voluminous shape is a sexy option for all body types. The loose trapeze style still shows off those beach ready legs while allowing you to eat as much as you would lik…

Being a creative type, I find myself craving change whether it's in food, decor, clothing, accessories, hair, make-up or travelling. Although I like a variety of styles, I find it important to have my classic go-to's, then I work from there adding toss cushions to a well made, neutral sofa, or add a trending piece of jewelry to update my suit etc. When I came across Yoshi-Bella Snap Jewelry I was instantly intrigued. The Calgary, Canada based brand designs timeless bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings with a unique customizable approach. Each base piece is designed to accommodate a standard size or mini medallion that can be changed out in literally a snap, with a guitar pick (which I think is so smart/fun as a…

Bikini Wishlist feat. a See Through Bikini and Kimono Cardi from Rosegal

Image
I can not wait for warm, sunny days to spent by the water. I am too ready for bikini season to get here so I put together some of my fave must haves including thissee through bikiniand kimono cardigan. Of course my picks are all monochrome, because not only is that a strong trend this season, but it's my fave colour palette - if you will call black & white a colour palette :P.
Top Left I   Black Spaghetti Straps Coco Print Bikini- This is a chic version of the very popular palm leaf/palm tree print that is in big in both home and fashion right now. I love the strappy detail on the bottom and the simple triangle shape that is flattering for many body types. I love this suit because both top and bottom could easily be mixed and matched for easy weekend getaway packing.

Top Right I  Colormix Fringe Stripe Beach Throw - Classic beach towels are out and these fab medallion style towels are in! I first saw these a couple of years ago in Barcelona, and thought they were a great idea.…

Any look consisting of leather, a killer pair of heels and some texture is a go to outfit of mine. This rocker chic look is what I am most comfortable in and can easily throw together for a casual work or weekend look. With a few staple pieces you can achieve this style. These edgy basics can simply be integrated into your entire wardrobe. Here are my tips for achieving a rocker chic look from head to toe:
The Leather moto jacket/vest or denim vest - A great fitting leather jacket and an oversized vest is a wardrobe staple for anyone who loves this look. Both versions can be layered over just about anything to create a rocker feel. If there is one piece you should really invest in, it's a killer black leather jacket.
Distressed Denim - Of course black distressed jeans …
