Paris is always a good idea. My partner and I decided to spend our first New Years together (in three years) in Paris. I have only been to Paris in Summer/Fall, so it was nice to experience the festive decor, food trucks and outdoor christmas carnivals. As it was his first time visiting, we covered all the touristy stuff and then went on our own adventures around the city.
Ringing in the New Year at the Eiffel Tower was a magical finish to the year and a great start to 2015. On New Years day we locked our engraved lock on Pont des Arts - we had to do all the cliche couple things ;).
Several of my favourite things are encompassed in this one city; stunning architecture, chic fashion, great food and lots of love.

Classic, chic and feminine are the first words that come to mind when I think of Paris. This look is a mixture of all the above. The fit to flare wool coat emphasizes a beautiful feminine shape. I wore it open for a more casual, layered look and zipped with a cashmere scarf when it got too cold and windy. The leather gucci boots are a classic riding boot style, mixed with edgy exposed zippers up the back. The flattering arch cut on these knee high boots is great as it does not visually cut the leg like a straight cut boot.
The cream and black cropped crew neck sweater is the ultimate Parisian style. I layered a cream silk collared blouse underneath for a masculine twist with a feminine fabric. All these classic pieces are great to layer when travelling.

Gros bisous
