Summer blue's with a touch of camel. As many of you know, blue hues are one of my favourite colours to wear and decorate with. It is fresh, calming and powerful. This look is inspired by warm summer days and nights hanging out by the beach, relaxing and enjoying cocktails and laughs with friends. 

I came across this dress while pulling for a photo shoot, falling in love with the interesting weave detail on the back, combined with a minimalist front. A sheer overlay creates a maxi silhouette over a mini dress underneath. 
This rich royal blue dress looks great with natural leather and warm toned metals accessories. These two "Jodi" brass and Sodalite Cuffs by Kate Hewko have classic pyramid shaped stones and brass cuffs for the perfect compliment to the vibrant blue of the Sodalite and dress. Sodalite is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also strengthens intuition and communication. It brings clarity, calmness and confidence to those who wear it. 
The braided natural/camel leather belt, shoes and clutch with brass studs work create the perfect balance of cool vs. warms tones. I finished off the look with the "Caitlin" Ear Cuff with draped chain for an added detail. Check out more cool pieces for your summer wardrobe by Kate Hewko here.

After spending the past few years in the U.K., I have become a tea addict.  I drink approximately 2 cups of tea per day in the summer months, and 3-5 in the winter.
