I love a bold print. Large scale patterns have a way of making a statement all on their own. This season we are seeing daring prints & patterns in both the fashion and interior design world. I enjoy a good old "notice me now" look, however mixing and matching bold patterns together is too much for my petite frame. We still have to remember proportions.
I found this gem while pulling clothes for a project I was working on (gets me every time), I couldn't help myself from trying it on. Any pattern that includes at least a touch of black I gravitate towards right away. This creates more opportunites for styling and accessorizing. The pattern blocked paisley is both romantic and chaotic. The vibrant pinks, reds and blue hues are contrasted by black, reminding me of eastern Europe.
I enjoy the juxtaposition of soft, flowing and feminine vs. masculine shapes and materials. Therefore, I paired a black leather moto jacket and solid black accessories to ground the bold pattern.
