Any look consisting of leather, a killer pair of heels and some texture is a go to outfit of mine. This rocker chic look is what I am most comfortable in and can easily throw together for a casual work or weekend look. With a few staple pieces you can achieve this style. These edgy basics can simply be integrated into your entire wardrobe. Here are my tips for achieving a rocker chic look from head to toe:

The Leather moto jacket/vest or denim vest - A great fitting leather jacket and an oversized vest is a wardrobe staple for anyone who loves this look. Both versions can be layered over just about anything to create a rocker feel. If there is one piece you should really invest in, it's a killer black leather jacket.

Distressed Denim - Of course black distressed jeans are a staple, but switching them up for light grey or white pants are so perfect for S/S and are just as versatile. The distressed detail on these and cuffed hem say summer casual, but can definitely be dressed up as well.

Layering is Key - Layer at least one top under the vest or leather jacket. A sheer top looks great with the heaviness of leather. I also suggest layering a more feminine texture like this laser cut crepe or lace.

The Pointed Stiletto - An pointed toe stiletto automatically adds a chic element to any style.
Choose a pair in black or metallic that has a comfortable last for your arch because you will want to wear them with every outfit! Hardware on the shoe like the zipper detail on these gorg Givenchy heels to add edgy details to the look.

Cool Accessories - Any hard materials like leather or metal add to the rocker vibe. Stacking rings are a great way to add subtle metal details to your hands. Instead of getting too crazy with actual accessories with this look, this henna adds tattoo feel with an ethnic twist.

Hair Texture - A centre (ish) parted beachy/bed head wave looks cool with this style. Use the barrel iron or wand and twist it around the barrel with your other hand. Hold it for a few seconds and release for a casual, wavy texture.

Smokey Make-Up - A smokey eyes with a cat eye liner and nude or bold red lip finish it all off. Don't forget black nail polish ;).
